Description
The Soil Association’s Future Growers programme has been training the next generation of organic growers since 2007. Since its formation, the scheme has trained over 100 organic entrepreneurs, and has brought new energy into the field of sustainable fruit and vegetable production.
The Future Growers programme currently focuses on providing a six-month course of rich, farm-based training events, available to any aspiring grower to participate in. We draw on our well-established network of inspirational farms to host field trips and deliver comprehensive, educational seminars.
The programme offers six weekend field trips where our growers hear from expert tutors; go on farm tours; have access to an exclusive online resource centre; undertake recommended reading; attend specialist conferences and events; interact and understand the wider organic network, and importantly, learn from each other.
