M\u00e1s de 2.000 millones de hect\u00e1reas de tierra en todo el mundo est\u00e1n degradadas y muchas comunidades ya est\u00e1n gravemente afectadas. Esto conlleva el peligro de simplificar en exceso transiciones complejas. Escalar no es neutro: escalar algo significa no escalar otra cosa. En la restauraci\u00f3n del paisaje, quiz\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n sea importante tener en cuenta lo que hay que reducir, como las pr\u00e1cticas degradantes. Adem\u00e1s, hay que recordar que no escalamos en el vac\u00edo. Vivimos en un mundo que escala constantemente; una vez que empiezas a tirar de un hilo, ver\u00e1s que est\u00e1 interconectado con muchos otros elementos. \u00bfY qui\u00e9n decide qu\u00e9 se escala?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Calidad frente a cantidad:<\/strong> La restauraci\u00f3n del paisaje exige trabajar con redes de personas en una amplia zona geogr\u00e1fica. Es necesario aumentar el n\u00famero de partes interesadas que interact\u00faan, como agricultores, conservacionistas, empresarios y desde el gobierno local hasta el nacional. Un cambio impactante implica relaciones significativas que puedan mantenerse a largo plazo. Pero, \u00bfc\u00f3mo ampl\u00edan las organizaciones su impacto a trav\u00e9s de una red creciente que mantenga la calidad?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Superar las barreras sist\u00e9micas para lograr cambios a gran escala:<\/strong> Entre los obst\u00e1culos al cambio se encuentran las creencias culturales y la pol\u00edtica gubernamental y agr\u00edcola. Un reto para las organizaciones es c\u00f3mo colaborar con una amplia variedad de partes interesadas y, al mismo tiempo, superar estas barreras.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pasar de la acci\u00f3n individual a la colectiva:<\/strong> Ninguna organizaci\u00f3n puede lograr por s\u00ed sola una restauraci\u00f3n hol\u00edstica del paisaje. Por ello, uno de los retos es ampliar la restauraci\u00f3n del paisaje en colaboraci\u00f3n con otros para fomentar una acci\u00f3n colectiva que sea honesta, respetuosa e incluya a todos en la conversaci\u00f3n, al tiempo que se presta especial atenci\u00f3n a las voces marginadas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Escalar puede significar trabajar en anchura, profundidad y longitud<\/strong>: El escalado es complejo y su dise\u00f1o puede realizarse a trav\u00e9s de diferentes medidas.
