Description

Learn from farmers and organizations in Minnesota about regenerative agriculture and the practices involved.

Field to Fork's Winter Forum will focus on regenerative agriculture, bringing in farmers and organizations from Minnesota to discuss this new wave of farming and what it does for the land. Hear personal stories from farmers who have made the switch to regenerative practices and learn from organizations how these practices can be implemented.

Guest speakers will include Kent Solberg from the Sustainable Farming Association of Minnesota, Matt Maier from Thousand Hills Lifetime Grazed, Cody Nelson with Soil RX INC, and more!

The Field to Fork campaign aims to reshape the industrialized food system, in relation to livestock production, to implement policies that reflect sustainable practices in order to protect our natural resources.

The campaign works towards two main goals:

  • Changing the Market by engaging consumers to influence customers of corporate agriculture through demand.
  • Changing Policy by pushing for reform on three important environmental issues within meat's supply chain - feed sourcing, manure management, and climate change.
