Description
Join leading filmmakers and activists from 8–10 November for a free online film festival, brought to you by the Global Landscape Forum and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
Screened during the civil society week at COP26, it will connect viewers with filmmakers and protagonists, including activists, policymakers and community leaders.
The Generation Restoration Film Festival will air a series of short and feature films focused on the global land restoration movement. Hosted in the aftermath of GLF Climate: Forests, Food, Finance – Frontiers of Change, this international film festival will take citizens to the frontiers of ecosystem degradation and restoration. Screened during the civil society week of COP26, it will facilitate exchange between creatives, community leaders, policymakers and the global civil society.
Join from the comfort of your home, get inspired, spread the word, and play your part in restoring the planet. Around eight films will be screened over the course of the festival, followed by three interactive discussion panels on the final day of the festival where you’ll be able to send your questions to the filmmakers themselves through a live chat box.
