Grazing naturally means changing management actions to adapt to emerging conditions while improving production and building resilience.
Also: How grasses build soil depth and fix carbon, balancing grazing with grass recovery, weed management with grazing, improving animal performance and production, balancing minerals in soil and grass and the online livestock management software MAIA Grazing Platform (free 3-month trial).
The Kangaroo Island Natural Resources Board would like to invite 12 graziers who are keen to transition to this approach, or who have already started the journey having attended the introductory course in 2018, to participate in the training and mentorship program.
The Board will cover the cost, other than a small deposit to secure your place* for the Grazing Planning Workshop and the Advanced Implementation Workshop (about 6 months later).
The Board will also subsidise the cost of a 12-month Support Program of your choice.
*Deposits to secure your place will go to the Nature Foundation SA Inc. Glossy Black-cockatoo Recovery Program.
