Join the Landscape Finance Lab and FAO’s Forest and Landscape Restoration Mechanism (FLRM) online Community of Practice (CoP) on Local Finance for Forest and Landscape Restoration (FLR) on 9 March 2023, 12:00-13:30 CET, for a  masterclass on “Building bankable business plans”.

This is the third session of our Private Finance themed Learning Challenge, and will include speakers Marco Boscolo of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Florian Vernaz, Landscape Lead at the Landscape Finance Lab.

The topics of focus in this masterclass will include introductions to bankable business plans, project finance modelling and identifying bankable solutions in a landscape. Participants can expect to be guided through a typical process of development. The aim of this session is to understand the following:

  • how bankable business plans can leverage impact;
  • factors for bankability;
  • financing a project – a developers view;
  • reducing risk; and
  • an overview of key investments.
