Regenerative agriculture is an approach to farming that takes soil health, yield goals, and farm economics into consideration. Each of the sessions described below will include 20 minutes of live Q&A. If you have water quality or other compliance requirements from regulatory bodies, this session provides economic solutions to nitrogen and phosphorus runoff that don’t negatively impact yield and plant health.
- How to Manage Salinity in Irrigation Water and Increase Water Efficiency - In this session, you’ll learn how to neutralize salt concentrations in the soil and decrease salt content of irrigation water as well as what steps to take to increase plant resilience to drought conditions.
- The Bottom Line of Success for Regenerative Practices - This grower-led session will cover the economics of regenerative agriculture on commercial, large-scale California ranches.
- How to Customize a Regenerative Program for your Farm - In this session, you will learn the basics of a successful approach to large-scale regenerative farming, including the plant diagnostics, farm inputs, and software tools regenerative growers use in their farm programs.
