Description

During this session, organisations involved in financing, capacity-building, support, and match-making related to carbon and non-carbon investments will present their approaches and discuss 2 main questions:

  1. what makes nature-based projects funding-ready?
  2. how to best access and sustain financing?

Issues such as due-diligence, monitoring, and transparency will also be examined. We will end with an interactive Q&A block and outline next steps for projects wishing to collaborate with the speakers or apply for funding.

We will be discussing blueprints for making projects funding-ready and best practices in securing financing. All sessions will be tailored towards the needs of project developers seeking funding to start or expand their operations. Concrete next steps and application processes will be outlined clearly.
