Description

The soils in North Carolina are extremely diverse. Knowing what lies beneath the plant layer is important in how the area is managed, how much water will be available, and what the nutrient holding capacity is in that location. In this presentation by Orange County Cooperative Extension Agent Mike Ortosky will discuss the importance of knowing the soil type and management strategies for soil health.

This series is free. Registration is required to get the Zoom link and the recording following the presentation.

This presentation is part of the 2022 soil health and regenerative agriculture series is brought to you by Durham County Cooperative Extension Small Farms and Local Foods program.
