Description

Global soil biodiversity and ecosystem function monitoring is a critical step in understanding soil systems and assessing ecological trends together with the effects of global change. This also allows for providing valuable information to policymakers. SoilBON is a network aimed at supporting regional and national soil biodiversity networks. Does the data produced by scientists in research networks reach policy levels? Panellists representing different regional and global networks will discuss the expected impact of these networks in providing data for policy design and supporting the conservation of soil ecosystems.
