Description

This event is organized by the World Resources Institute’s Land Accelerator (South Asia).

Many land restoration entrepreneurs’ business models rely on effectively engaging smallholder farmers. It is essential to organize them to participate in the supply chain, and to empower them to participate in land-restoration, sustainable or organic farming and production methods. Other land restoration entrepreneurs may be providing bio-inputs or consultation services that will benefit farmers. Mr. Easwaran will share his lessons learned while engaging thousands of farmers, and discuss strategies that entrepreneurs and companies can use to get more farmers involved in their supply chains to restore land.
