Aland Foundation was launched at the beginning of 2021. Its aim is to create a network of initiatives that develop landscape restoration projects based on the 4 Returns – 3 Zones – 20 Years framework, in the Iberian Peninsula, Spain and Portugal.

To achieve this goal, Aland will use the large-scale Landscape Restoration Project developed by AlVelAl Association and Commonland in the Altiplano Estepario, south-eastern of Spain, since 2014.
