Description

Environment for People and Development is a Non-government organisation which was established by youths who are professionally environmentalists. EPD has done a great work concerning Environment in the society. Currently has a proposal concerning mangrove reclamation at Jozan National Park and Biosphere Reserve at Zanzibar where red colubus monkeys are found. The society is cutting down the mangroves for house building and firewood without taking into consideration that they are causing destruction to the environment. Some efforts must to be done to make sure that the area is reclaimed and that the alternative source of house building and firewood is taking into practice. We looking for collaborators and advices on where to find funding.
