The Rewilding Academy is  a mission-driven charity organizing and promoting capacity building in rewilding, ecosystem restoration and regenerative agriculture. Our charity is operating at the interface between ecological restoration, climate change mitigation and rural development.
We provide capacity building and implementation support to projects, including ranger training, develop curricula and courses in collaboration with Universities, and promote experiential learning opportunities. We also act as a knowledge exchange platform for rewilding and related fields to incubate a new generation of change makers.
One of the main challenges our projects and project partners are facing is a lack of resources and equipment, to protect and restore huge areas of land effectively. Funding is needed to develop (self) sustainable programmes and solutions through a bottom-up approach, assisting communities to manage their own resources.
