Description

The Global Restoration Monitor by the EverGreening Alliance is a geospatial tool to track and display the progress and impact of land restoration projects worldwide. Built with Esri GIS Mapping Software and a suite of monitoring tools, the Platform monitors the adoption of restorative practices, areas under restoration, carbon sequestration, and livelihood security.

The design and development of the platform has ongoing input from the EverGreening Alliance’s member organisations which include some of the world’s most capable development and environmental NGO’s, as well as leading technical experts and research institutions. The Global Restoration Monitor is dynamic, and is regularly updated to stay up to date with current and leading technologies and methodologies.
