This resource addresses the current condition our planet’s ecosystems, the threat that they are facing and how human activities have impacted the planet throughout history. The resource also links nature and people by discussing the basic concept of ecosystem services and explains why healthy ecosystems are vital to the survival of humans. This document serves as a basic resource that could be of good use for people that don’t have the basic background in ecology.
