Herenboeren is a growing citizen movement that shows that the production of our daily food can be different, better and above all more sustainable. Stichting Herenboeren Nederland does this by offering support and gathering and unlocking knowledge for the further development of Herenboerderijen in the Netherlands.
We see great opportunities for these cooperative farms that make citizens shared owners of their own farms; consumers who together produce and consume demand-driven. We help them develop these small-scale mixed businesses that produce sustainable, healthy and tasty food and restore lost food skills.
